Hi, there!! I am going to be starting a 30-day challenge from the 1st August, incorporating mostly raw, but sometimes cooked foods. Obviously high-carb, low-fat. Abiding by the "Allowed Foods" rules and eating as much raw as possible - in the form of fruit, of course!!

If you're interested in doing a 30-day challenge, and, like me, you don't have Facebook, I thought we could start a new one up here, following the Raw 'til 4 rules?? If there is another thread for this that is still going, please could someone direct me to it, as I couldn't find one.

MAKE SURE YOU GO TO http://www.cronometer.com/ to work out your calories, water, vitamins, minerals and general nutrients for the day!! Try to get as close to 80/10/10 as possible, but don't worry if some days your fat or protein are a little higher or lower. As long as it all balances out in the end, you're doing a great job.

Try to set out your "diaries" like this ((I'll leave this one here so that you can copy it down when you need to)):

  • Day 21..

    Breakfast - Not good.. 200g Medjool Dates , 500ml Orange & Mango Juice

    Lunch - Banana and Apricot "Nice Cream"

    Dinner - Corn Pasta , sauce made from steamed Broccoli , Basil , Lettuce Greens and Low-Sodium Bouillon

    Snax - Cucumber slices with Avocado and Lemon Juice ((random, I know..))

    Water - 3.7 L

     

    Movement - About an hour of messing about playing tennis in a field ..without a net :P

    Sleep - Don't remember, but not enough..

    Feelings - Pretty good!! Spent it with my boyfriend and we took out my brother's dog when we "played tennis" :) was fun!!

    Totals - 1,814 : 89.2/5.3/5.5

    • And finally, Day 22!! Looks pretty good to most, I think..??..

       

      Breakfast - 1/3 of a massive watermelon!! I'll post a pic in a minute :)

      Lunch - 500g Black Grapes , 3 large Blood Oranges , 200g Deri Dates

      Dinner - Another 1/3 of that huge Watermelon , 200g Kadrawi Dates after an hour..

      Snax - None ..unless you count the dates..

      Water - 4 L

       

      Movement - 6 hours of work on feet , 27 minutes on bike , 100 Squats!!

      Sleep - About 7 and a half hours :)

      Feelings - Emotional :/ TotM.. aka "Aunt Flo" is paying a visit.. HUNGRY!! I feel really greedy now :/ shouldn't have had the dates after the watermelon :/. Buuuut now, quite happy, after a random "crying session", talking to my boyfriend, who is about to make his way over here :)

      Totals: 3,121 : 92.7/2.8/4.8

    • Day 23..

       

      Breakfast - Was in a rush, but got about 750g Pineapple from Boots on the way out of town..

      Lunch - 250g Dates ((all I had))

      Dinner - 150g Corn Pasta , half a Butternut Squash ((half blended with..)) 1/5th Avocado , Fresh Dill , 1.5tsp Low-Sodium Bouillon

      Snax - No chance

      Water - 3.8 L

       

      Movement - Work on my feet for 6 hours , 27 minutes cycling , walking around town and housework .. no proper workout though :( ..

      Sleep - 6-7 hours

      Feelings - Good for being with my Dad and boyfriend, even if I didn't get to spend too much time with them. Work wasn't too bad, but I don't like my boss and his mistress is hard to get on with -_- ..

      Totals - 1,702: 90.2/5.2/4.5

    • Day 24....

      Breakfast - 1/3 of a huge Watermelon

      Lunch - 500g Green Grapes , 500g Red Grapes

      Dinner - 200g Corn Pasta , half a Butternut Squash , 1 Leek , 1/2 an Avocado , Fresh Dill , 1tsp Low-Sodium Bouillon

      Snax - Cucumber rounds with vegan mayo :( , Sweet 'n' Sour Veggies

      H2O - 4 L

       

      Movement - 6 hours of work

      Sleep - 7 hours

      Feelings - Not too bad. Work was very quiet - we've had downpours of rain and thunder over here, so not many people wanted to come to a café park for fried foods, ice creams and drinks.... Wasn't bad though, I get on well with the woman and girl who were on-shift today - we always chat and get on together, so we talked the day away whilst tidying up the kitchen :) .

      Totals - 2,197 - 84.6/9.6/5.8

      Well, I'm a BIT behind again, let's check Crono..

       

      Breakfast - Half a large Watermelon

      Lunch - ((Not enough ripe fruit available, but should have made better choices..)) Smoothie of 4 ((slightly underripe)) Bananas and 2T Coconut Sugar , Half a Cucumber with vegan mayo.. , then 100g Brown Rice cooked in Bouillon ((<--been relying on this ingredient far too much..))

      Dinner - A whole Butternut Squash, steamed, topped with a sauce of: some of the squash , half an Avocado , handful of fresh Dill and 2tsp Low-Sodium Bouillon

      H2O - 4 L

       

      Movement - Just 2 hours of Work :/ no cycling, no squats, no weights, just tiredness..

      Sleep - Don't remember, but less than 5 hours..

      Feelings - Tired!! All day..

      Totals - 2,198 - 83.9/8.7/7.5

    • Day 26..

      Bad day food-wise.. Was carbed-up enough in the morning, but guess it might be due to my timeofthemonth?? Hardly any sleep :( , feeling crappy..

      Anyways, through the day I had 13 Tangerines , 7 Bananas , handful of Spinach , Dried Apple ((disgusting!!)) , Half a Cucumber with vegan Mayo ((again >:( ..)) , A Scone >:( ..

      Worked for 6 hours , walked around for about 45 minutes..

      Slept hardly at all..

      Felt crappy..

    • Day 27 went a lot better :) ..

      Breakfast - Smoothie of 7 large, frozen Bananas and 20g Mint

      Lunch - 125g Dried Dates ((All I had))

      Dinner - LOADS of Corn Pasta!! , Sauce made from: a huge Broccoli , 2 Leeks , 75g Mixed Lettuce , quarter Avocado , Dill , 2tsp Low-Sodium Bouillon

      Snax - Nope :)

      H2O - 4 L

       

      Movement - 100 Squats , 30 reps each of a Weight ((pretty light)) ,

      Sleep - 6.5 hours, broken..

      Feelings - Don't remember, but happy that it was carb-filled. Just now, looking back, am realising that my last meal ((often cooked)) is usually my biggest of the day..

      Totals - 2,379: 87.8/6.6/5.6

    • Day 28 - Went to the zoo!!

       

      Breakfast - Half a large Watermelon

      Lunch - Half a large Watermelon , 200g Strawberries , 200g Cherries

      Dinner - 100g Basmati Rice , 2 sheets of Nori ((don't know if this is allowed :O )) , Half a Cucumber , Quarter of an Avocado , a little Low-Sodium Bouillon..

      Snax - 100g Deglet Noor Dates

      H2O - Only about 3 L

       

      Movement - Walking around the zoo for about 5 hours , about 30 minutes on the "Adventure Challenge" thing - a high-ropes , harnessed assault course about 20-30 ft. in the trees, finishing up with a 150 yd. zip-wire - great fun!!

      Sleep - About 7 hours.

      Feelings - Pretty great :) spent the day around animals , had the second half of my watermelon at the zoo, in front of people!! Just dug in with a spoon :D felt awesome!! I then gave the rind to a couple of guys who were going around feeding the animals on their electric-car-thingy :P they said that they would give my rind to the Honey Badger :) awesome!!

      Totals - 2,179: 86.8/6.5/6.8

      Breakfast - Smoothie of 2 Bananas , 5 large Nectarines , 3 Peaches

      Lunch - 400g Grapes , 125g Deglet Noor Dates , 2 Oranges ((couldn't eat any more - they were disgusting!!))

      Dinner - Corn Pasta , 1 large Broccoli , 2 Leeks , Half Avocado , Quarter C Basil , Low-Sodium Bouillon

      Snax - 2 thirds Cucumber , vegan Mayo ((whyyyy..))

      H2O - 4 L

       

      Movement - 8 hours of work..

      Sleep - 4-5 hours -_-

      Feelings - Not too bad, but obviously tired all day.. Woke up with a very painful ankle that lasted the whole day and caused me to limp and hobble my way around work..

      Totals - 2,514 : 81.9/11.8/6.3
