Anyone wants to start Insanity on Sept. 12th?
I am starting Insanity for the first time on Sept. 12th. It would be awesome if there were others who were also doing it or starting it at around the same time. I hear it is a really tough work out. I'm very out of shape, have started working out again only two weeks ago since... ever. Also two weeks ago I got back on 100% raw and this week I got on LFRV. This is the first time that I am eating raw and exercising. Because Insanity is so tough and also so short (60 days), and because I haven't…

I loved when we biked, my thighs and legs ached, and I dropped weight and built muscle without thinking about. I like exercises that I can feel working, but without the injury :). My limitations are time and distance...I homeschool and care for all 9 (+1) of our children 12 and under. We've done the laps around the yard, but nearly no results. I'm gonna go for a stretching/pushups type exercises with the children to at least stay (or rather get) flexible, but I want to lift weights or get a regime that will help me build muscle so I can lose the fat again. I'm tired of being fluffy *grin*.
Sorry to hear that, Bella, but you're smart to know when to say when.
I'm sure you'll find something that suites your current physical abilities better. What are your favorite types of body movement?
Sorry...had to stop after about 21 days...my ankles' old injury "flared" and made it impossible to workout and I couldn't push through it as it would only make for a worse injury (been there, done that). Funny...Monday would have been my last day, oh well...another time. I love to see everyone else going for it, can't wait to see your six-packs! :) Best wishes ya'alls!
Exactly, Renee.

Amy, starting with the basic 2500k for ladies, I'd add at least another 500 to that. Assuming your sleep and other lifestyle factors are in line, see how you feel at this cal level, and don't hesitate to progressively bump up another 250 at a time, until you're feeling fully recovered.
You really saw no results whatsoever? Are you going to be 801010 this time around? I'm cooked vegan, (usually with around 10 bananas for breakfast) and probably won't be 100% raw till my yoga teacher training in February. . . but I hope I still see some results! It's so hard and I've been sore almost the whole two weeks and two days. Anyway, get started, I'll be on the path still cheering you on!
