Hey everyone,
My son is 2 1/2 and he is still nursing.
I want to get pregnant but I am having a hard time and I think it is because I am still nursing him. I am ovulating and I am getting my cycle every 2 months. I have heard of tons of ladies getting pregnant while still nursing, so I am wondering if you could share some tips or advice on how to conceive while still nursing. I am hoping to cut back my son to just a few times a day and none at night because he is approaching 3 and I'd like to have him weaned soon.
Any advice or sharing of experience in this would be great.
Thanks a ton

Wow thanks so much for your insights. We cosleep as well so I think I am going to put him in his own bed since he does tend to wake up less when he's in his own bed. I think with weaning I am also just freaking out personally a bit to because I find it so uncomfortable to be engorged and it happens so quickly when he doesn't nurse at night. Hopefully he can drop feedings so my body can adjust.
Night feeding affects ovulation more so night wean him if he is eating well through the day. At 2.5 years he should definitely be fine to go through the night without a feed. I have conceived 3 kids and I was still nursing my elder ones when the younger ones were conceived but they had been weaned off night feeds for at least a few months.
