Hey y'all, I just moved to Ottawa for work from Northern California and I'm struggling to find the best place for wholesale produce here. A co-worker recommended Farm Boy as the best place to buy retail--I'm gonna check them out soon and I'll report back, but would prefer to buy by the case.

Look for Wholesale Club - 1435 Cyrville Rd, Gloucester, ON K1B 3L7
you can get cases of Bananas right in the produce section, you don't even need to ask for someone to get them from the back room. But I find other cases just seem to be a little too big, like you can get Avocados, apples, oranges etc but there are just so many in a commercial case they are hard to get through.
Also check out Costco, they have smaller bulk sizes...but because the bananas aren't in a case I once found many bruised bananas, so I only get them from wholesale club now (your milage may vary lol)
Asian stores for exotic produce / thai coconuts at reasonable rates.
