Hey there! :)
Yes I definitely know about Organic Garage... I worked there for two years! lol
Yuan Ming is new though! Thanks for the info! I'll try to get out there a.s.a.p.
Are prices usually good for boxes/cases of things? Do they have organic produce?
I've actually been searching high and low for a fruit wholesaler who will sell to me, but no one will or the ones that would are too far to make it worth while. But in my search I did come across a Wholesaler in Hamilton who sells to the public by means of a Cash & Carry. You grab a dolly/cart, go into the fridges and take what boxes (or even single items) that you'd like and pay at the front. None of the produce is organic, however, boxes of bananas are $20.00... cases of avocados are $20.00... cases of grapes (20lbs) are $20.00 etc etc. It's a pretty relaxed place and good if you're in a pinch and in that neck of the woods....
I, myself, prefer organic so the O.G is my first stop as well :) I bet you we've seen each other in there and never even knew!! Small world, eh!
great photo!! it was so lovely meeting you, elaine and jack and i'll definitely be in touch when i return so we can enjoy fruit together again!
happy birthday!
