K, so this morning I was trying to figure out what to do with my VERY ripe tangerines sitting on the counter and then I saw a young Thai coconut in the fridge and a fresh, sweet pineapple on the counter. Bingo! You need to try this recipe - it's seriously the BEST juice I have ever tasted.
Measurements are not exact, but here's the idea if you want about 2-3 big servings:
* Juice 8-9 tangerines
* 1/2 cup coconut water
* BIG spear of pineapple flesh
Directions: Blend tangerine juice, coconut water, and pineapple in blender until smooth.
Let me know what you think, and if you have any other OJ or TJ recipes I would love to know since I have so much citrus right now.

That sounds really good! What do you use to get the juice out of the coconut? I'm a little afraid of trying...
I have orange juice for breakfast everyday, I need to give juicing tangerines a try. I do 3 cups fresh OJ with a cup and a half of pineapple chunks. This morning I also put in 2 bananas to up the calories and it was really good. Bananas add a creaminess and the OJ and pineapple flavors still really stand out. :-)
Get a meat cleaver or a knife with a very fat blade and sharp elbow(?) - haha that doesn't make any sense. Ok, I have no clue how to explain, so here's a great Youtube video I found for it:

Pineapple oj also is really good, but I've found that tangerines have this certain divine flavor mixed with the pineapple that oranges don't have (my personal opinion, of course). I hope you try this! :)
Putting bananas in there sounds pretty amazing though - like a smoothie I bet!
Also, you can always just get the natural packaged coconut water. :) Sometimes that's what I will do.
Thanks Natalyn! It's amazing what we can learn from Youtube! :) She makes it look so easy too, I'll have to give it a try.
I think you've sold me on trying tangerine juice if it's "divine." I'll get extras when I go to the store next to try it!
