Thank DR for this...
How do i know im not eating enough calories from fruit?
1. Cooked food starts to look and smell good.
2. Cooked food looks more then the toxic, second rate slop it really is.
3. Your energy, power, strength start to go downhill.
4. Your attitude starts to suck. You just want to rip apart people and scream at them with frustration.
5. You start to question this whole raw gig.
6. You get cravings during the day and evening.
7. You start to rely on discipline to keep you raw.
8. You start to make raw pasta dishes, raw cakes etc.
9. You start to question if we really need to exercise.
10. Your so thin and weak that your athletic friends start to get concerned.
11. You start to question veganism.
12. You start blending maccadamias with dulse and spread it on 1inch thick flax crackers you made at 3am in the morning.
13. You wake up at night and steal your housemates fruit. If your housemate is called banana guns and he told you not to eat the papaya, and you did, you aint eating enough fruit cals.
14. You start to want to take fancy herbs and experiement with other diets.
15. Your actually eating cooked food and reading this.
16. Youve got some Fred Bisci Enzymes in your pocket and your ready to try the 'all raw but 20% cooked rule'
17. You want to believe that Brian Clement is right when he says corn chips are better than fruit.
18. You just paid aajonus vonderplanitz 400$ for a one hour consult and he told you to put an egg on a window edge for 50 days until its putrid and then to eat it. and you did it. you saw your dog eat some animal poo and you tried it too. ( true story i just heard).
19. You just cant sleep!! you are approaching insomniac.

I've been cooked high fat vegan for 2 years and LFRV for one month. I had rice twice in the first week but other than that no "slip ups", and I don't get cravings. Just got to get in those carbs. I know the healing process is slow and was wondering if any one could offer some advice?
So I'm 5'4" and 120lbs. I know but body is holding onto a few extra lbs and am more comfortable around 110lbs. I am active but not outrageous, about 45min-90min 5 days a week (running, hiking, yoga etc.) And have been eating about 2,500 calories on average. Should I eat more? Or less? And I'm consuming about 3-5L of water per day. (Sorry to be writing so much!)
Yesterday I ate:
2 honey dew melons
10 dates
7 banana smoothie
2 cups of mixed fruit salad (grapes and pineapple topped with unsweetened shredded coconut)
1 cup veggies (carrots and defrosted edamame)
Today so far:
6 banana smoothie
6 dates
2 large glasses of home made juice (beet, carrot, apple and ginger)
I'll probably have another 6-7 banana smoothie and a large bowl of veggies, salad about 5 dates
Okay, this is a typical day for me. I ran 6 miles and ate mono apples today. I usually end up eating 2200-2500 calories in a day. I do like to break the sweetness up by having a huge salad at night. How much salad is too much. I like to eat a huge salad at night. Is a six tub tupperware too big? How about a good dressing that isn't sweet? Am I eating enough. I am 5'4" and 108. I want to lose to 100 to run my 6th marathon in January. How do I lose and not eat too little?
Thanks for this timely reminder!!! I've recently started exercising a whole lot more (around 2 hours a day) and have had a sick breastfed 19mth old who has been feeding non-stop day and night for the past 2 weeks...so huge increase in calorie requirements for me plus not enough sleep. So of course it's caught up with me and I was feeling buggered yesterday (really tired/drained) and so i gave in and carbed up on sweet potato and rice pasta and chickpea sauce when I really needed more calories....i reached for the wrong food. When I'm that tired my self-discipline goes out the door as my brain seems to get addled and I can't think of anything else but GET CALORIES NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO back to the fruit today...
Well, after sleepless nights, with lots of tossing, wondering walks with lots of what if's... I am going to do my best to eat more sweet fruits, and no green juices, just crunching on lettuce or cut up cucumber (I'm munching on one now). I have been up and down so many times, that it is tiring to think about it. I have one major issue I must work out: losing at least 25 lbs. of fat and water. I know I can, I was at my optimal a few years ago, I just haven't had the determination to get there again,...until today. So I'm joining this group, read, and reread the messages here, and once and for all realize I cannot go binging/fasting anymore.... that must stop.
Today was a good day, got my rebounding and 3 hours of hot yoga happily, and 5 bananas, 7 pomegranates, 1 mango, 10 oranges and 1 bunch of celery down. I probably need some more bananas, and maybe I'll have some iceberg lettuce for crunch.
I'll be checking here and on 30BAD.... and reread the above 19 funny but true points. Hasta luego.

Great post, Freelee. Love it.
I recommend nutridiary for checking calories...aim for 2000 a day from raw fruit and greens!
