Monkeybuns I'm glad you have join us. I totally understand you but the good news is not you are not alone and more and more people are becoming aware of the awesome benefits of being a Vegan, we just have to be patient.
P.S. Yesterday a met " Vegan Texas Cowboy" how awesome is that?!!!. He was a hardcore Texan Cowboy following the Vegan lifestyle for 4 years already. I'm telling you there is hope and do not give up, no matter what people say.
Hi ya'll! Im so glad to have found this! I feel like trying to be vegan in Texas is a sin. I can't tell you how many people have told me my transition sounds like a terrible idea. I want to be healthy and beer/burger/bluebell are good but toxic to my body. I feel better when I eat vegan physically, but feel worse mentally when friends and family think I'm red neck crazy.
Dallas/Fort Worth Friends the Texas Veggie Fair is coming this Sunday, October 19th. See you all there!

And one last thing - Cindy, your salad picture that you showed us looks fabulous. Thanks for the inspiration and doing what you do.
You've got a good point, Jay, us DFW vegans are hard to come by. And Cindy, I totally agree that Spiral Diner is radical, especially for those of us who are RT4. For those of us who are completely raw, they also have at least one raw entree, the All Raw Salad, and although I've not tried it I'm willing to bet that it's amazing like everything else. Unfortunately though, and this isn't just an observation about Spiral Diner, most if not all of their meals don't fit the macronutrient profile of the high carb diet. But, if anyone likes to indulge, this is surely the place to do it. Cindy, have you checked out D'Vegan? It's vegan Vietnamese, wonderfully prepared with mock meats like tofu, seitan, etc., all handmade in the owner's kitchen. Someone let me know if you have any raw restaurants/menu items that you know of which are appropriate for 80/10/10.
Not very many Fort Worth vegans? Quality before quantity....lol!
Hello! My vegan friends. I just wanted to let you know of a place in Fort Worth that serves Organic Vegan meals. They have really good meals.
Here is their website http://www.spiraldiner.com/
I just wanted to share with you guys the following:
My sister sent me this beautiful picture the other day. I'm super excited that she has finally decided to try to reduce her meat and fat intake and incorporate more fruits and vegetables. This made my day because I realize that my lifestyle is not very conventional and to some it may even look impossible to follow. As I mentioned before I do not have this page, youtube channel and Instagram acct. for monetary reasons but with the only purpose of sharing my experiences with all of you, in hopes that you may find a benefit from this lifestyle and you become the very best that you can be.
Way to go Sis! I am very proud of you! I love you!
Hey guys! Check out my new video. How I kept my vegan lifestyle while going on vacation to Disney World. What I ate, places and things I saw in Disney World, Amazing 4th of July fireworks at Disney World + more.
