I first "stumbled" upon raw foodism by curiosity in the spring of 2011. i wondered if it was possible for some one to survive only on fruit because of its pure, nutrional, wonderful value. an internet search lead me to a new term "fruitarian". the more i read into it the more sence it made to me. everyone i mentioned this too thought i was completly insane but i knew better. When i was 5 or 6 out of no where i decided i would not eat meat! I couldn't stand the thought of killing these poor animals with feelings and emotions. My mom was devistated, not knowing what to do or how to handle something so absurd. But i kept that choice for 16 years : ) now it makes sence to me more then ever. i beleive i knew in every inch of my soul that killing and eating animals was completly wrong! and at the age of 24 i was at my end of trying to figure out why i felt like an old woman. no energy, no focus, no joy, no meaning. i so clearly remember having that constant feeling of heavy weights strapped to every part of my body, making the idea of activity fearful rather than enjoyable. the more i applied the theory of natures foods for the first time IN MY LIFE i felt amazing. full of life and energy. my journey has never stopped and i am now driven to set an example and show as many peaple as i possible can the horrible lies they are fed (pun intended)

i'm always interested in learning more. i've read a stack of books that reaches from the floor to my knees already. but i am very opened minded to learn more and offer help and personal experiences when possible. staying motivated and focused would be my main goal for life.

I'm unsure how ideal this is but maybe look into buying bulk rye berries or some other grains which would be gluten free i know rye berries are really cheap, then you could like add stuff to it and feed your dogs that. I'm guessing that could be cheaper than dog food although more work for your obviously. Maybe dumpster diving if you have a good place to do that since i dont think the dogs would care about quality for the most part for their veggies. I've worked in a dog food factory and i know that stuff is no better for the most part, it's just grains and flavouring ground up and liquid bone broth n such junk. Goodluck with all the pups :D
