I began getting interested in 30BaD for a while now. I have been a vegan for over a year, and a vegetarian before that for a few years. After becoming a vegan I was told I should go on a higher protein diet because I was consuming to many carbohydrates. However after a few month of that I became really ill, and no doctors could tell me what was wrong. Everyone blamed it on being vegan, I choose not to accept that and began searching for better healthier lifestyles. I stumbled onto the raw food life style which I have dabbled in on and off for almost 2 years and really want to make it my permanent lifestyle. Right now I;m currently 80% raw.I became very confused between high fat, low fat, and calorie restricting raw vegans. After doing that for a while and not feeling well and gaining weight I decided that maybe it wasnt working. Then I found freelee and other inspiring people on utube. I was really amazed at hearing how many calories I should be eating, that the healing process takes time. I really am trying to make this a lifestyle change, and would love to have the support and motivation of others doing the same.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are...
I love anything outdoors from biking, running, and camping. I run everyday. I love to read and will read about anything. I particularly enjoy horror novels and Stephen king books. My favourite book series is the Dark Tower Series by Stephen King. I like horror and old school romantic movies such as: the night mare on elm street, the note book, atonement. Currently right now I'm reading a lot of books on the raw food lifestyle and ways to improve my life.
The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?

Hey I did a cross -canada adventure from B.C. a while ago and got here and liked it. The rest as you say is history lol. What brings you to N.B.?
Hey,
Halifax is great, but I don't know one raw fooder here...a few vegans maybe.
I'm originally from B.C. so the pace is a bit slower here, lol.
Did you grow up in Moncton?
Hey...good to be friends...noticed you were close by.
Cas :)
Actually, I drove through a snowstorm yesterday, cause I was delivering sprouts in the northern part of the state, but it's supposed to get up to the mid 70s later this week.
Yeah, what is it with all the raw canadians anyway?
