The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
I am just 10 days into eating raw, any and all information I can get to keep me eating raw would be great. I would like to make sure I am doing this right so I can stay raw. I am doing this alone, don't even know anyone who has even tried this before, I have books, but people who have done this are much better teachers, you can't ask a book a question!
The Frugivore Diet is a fruit-based vegan internet community which promotes a high carb fruit based vegan lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to this. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:

also, go to my page on this forum and watch the video I uploaded titled "Loren Lockman on 80/10/10" about calorie intake and detox.
Inspite of what some people have said on you thread, detox happens. There are many cases described in the raw food literature. When Joe Alexander adopted a raw diet he felt sick and tired for 8 months and lost 40 lbs (he was thin to begin with). But after 8 months on the diet he had a "healing crisis" which last a full month during which he coffed up green globs of mucus from his lungs. After the experience was over he felt like he had been reborn and promptly regained the 40 lbs he had lost. He wrote his book "Blatant Raw Foodist Propaganda" after he had been successfully following a raw food diet for 20 years. He was only 22 years old when he became a raw foodist and had never been sick a day in his life. There are many stories like this out there.
