Hello, my real name is Chelsea, but my friends call me Colette. I'm 24 and on March 26th, 2014, I became a vegetarian after watching Forks Over Knives, Earthlings, Food Inc, etc. I gave up milk, eggs, meat and became a vegan 2 months after that since I already gave up animal products while as a vegetarian (oddly was not that hard as I thought it would be). I stopped having headaches daily and felt lighter. Lost 20lbs so far and still have a ways to go. I came across 30BaD while watching Youtube videos on veganism and decided to jump right in and learn about how to incorporate eating cleanly and knowing what I am putting into my body. It makes me feel better that I am not supporting the meat and dairy industry anymore that has caused so much animal suffering. I can't wait to learn more about HCRV and Raw Til 4. I know I can't go HCRV right away, but definitely want to know what works for me and become healthier.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are...
I haven't read any books on veganism yet, but one of my favorite books is Dark Side of the Moon by Sherrilyn Kenyon and favorite author. My pastimes are playing video games, reading fiction novels, the vegan diet (mostly online info), anything that is interesting to me like mythology, practicing with my diabolo (Chinese yo-yo), and listening to all kinds of music. I tend to work out every now and then, but I know I should be doing more. I also LOVE anime and manga <3 Forever will love Studio Ghibili and Hayao Miyazaki!
The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
Assistance that I need is information to help me stick to this amazing lifestyle, as well as help my family understand that its not as bad as they think it is; that I'm not going into veganism blindly and not to worry them. Also making friends who are vegan, as well as supportive of this lifestyle.
The Frugivore Diet is a fruit-based vegan internet community which promotes a high carb fruit based vegan lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to this. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
I will comply because I like totally agree with all this

Hey Chelsea! Unfortunately no, I've never gotten into Dr. Who. It was super popular among my friends though, and actually one guy friend of mine dressed up as Dr. Who for Halloween too lol. I like your profile though. If you're into Fiction books and haven't already, you might like the space trilogy that CS Lewis wrote. Those books were my summer fling. Now I'm hopefully onto the Lord of the Rings books or maybe the Divergent series. Idk. Oh, I really want to read 1984 too.
I saw that you watched Earthlings? I really want to see it but I don't know if I'm ready for it.... is it pretty sad? Since being vegan it's only gotten harder for me to watch that kind of thing...
