Despite having age as well as a diploma in holistic health and nutrition on my side I am working through a host of health, autoimmune problems and what looks to be a rare inflammatory disease called Mast Cell Activation Disease (MCAD). I have tried so many dietary approaches to healing the body naturally, cleanses and anti inflammatory diets to stabilize the progression of the disease. Western Doctors were stumped as there are only a select few who actually know about MCAD and those who do are few and far between. I have been to every alternative practitioner available, all promising success and healing then sending me off and referring me to someone else as it didn't work and they would claim it was to complicated for their practice.
Again I am young and truly believe that the body is capable of coming into balance and can heal itself if given the right tools. I just haven't found the right ones yet... I have been told that once you have MCAD, you have it forever and it can't be cured... that the best you can do is manage to stabilize it for a while. I am hoping to prove them wrong. So I am embarking on this fruit with hope and optimism :).
Outside of unfortunate health circumstances, I have a beautiful life that is just waiting to be enhanced! I have an amazing, supportive family and friends, music and creativity to be cultivated, the opportunity to live in abundance and just moved to beautiful Vancouver Island surrounded by nature, mountains to climb, beaches to visit and organic things ;).
Cheers

no & keen to connect
My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are...
I love looking through cookbooks oddly enough, as well as nutrition books, fiction, fantasy, culture study...etc. I like all movies except horror, uh uh no scary movies. I am a musician so I like doing that and writing songs. I love being outside and will walk all over town before having to get in a car. Hiking and biking, running, dancing, tennis is fun but I have only done it a couple times. Horseback riding is thrilling ( I come from the prairies originally so this is mandatory). I just love people and community, and there is nothing more satisfying than a good 'ol potluck or tea and a talk with a friend. Organizing group hikes or picnics and things, we are social beings and I think its important to stay connected. Love travel and it has been a big part of my life. Love exploring new cultures and getting into other mindsets and ways of living.
There's not a whole lot that I don't like actually. I LOVE mangos and pineapples. YUM.

Hey!! Yes I love Victoria!! Best place to live. Im in Alberta for a bit, working, but I will be back! Hopefully in time to enjoy some of the awesome weather we are supposed to get this summer!
Wow! 3000 calories, after exercising I end up with around 1000!! I will try to eat more but I get full very quickly!! I am doing this diet not just for the cheese, I want to be more healthy and get rid of my aches and pains which doctors said what fibromyalgia and my endometriosis. I think the most difficult part will be giving up junk food, but I have been good so far and I feel great :) my husband has even said I am glowing!! Good luck in your transition!!
Hi!! I moved to France 5 years ago :) You can imagine why I need this diet. I need to stop eating cheese, cakes, bread ... I am starting off with the raw till 4 diet. I eat only fruit, fruit smoothies and green smoothies. For dinner I always have a salad with raw vegetables but I have something small cooked with my salad, like potatoes, pasta, rice or vegetable soup. And I don't have anything sweet after dinner. I can't seem to eat the big amounts of fruit that some people eat, I don't know how they do it. I get worried that I don't eat enough so the cooked meal next to my salad fills me up.
