I struggled with yo-yo dieting and eventual eating disorders from a young age, same old story for girls growing up these days. I came to the HCLF lifestyle just last year and it has been an amazing journey that has already changed my life and I've influenced others around me also - even my meat eating 'protein makes you healthy' boyfriend mum! She took one look at my transformation and took it on herself, after initial questioning as to why I haven't died from potassium poisoning of course! I love this lifestyle and the community that comes with it, but I certainly haven't met any high carbers in my area! Would be lovely to connect with some high carbers and not have to justify how I eat to everyone :-)

Are you Connected?
yes i am
My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are...
My favorite books are fiction history books such as Philippa Gregory and of course all books to do with health and the high carb lifestyle such as 80/10/10 and the China Study.
The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
I am very much at the beginning of my RawTil4 journey/transition. It has slowly become a habit but I have occasionally fallen off the bandwagon due to what others are eating around me, the people I live/work with etc. I do have a great support system but I would love to get some extra inspiration from those that have been on this lifestyle for a long time.

Hi Julianne,
I run the meetup group "Manchester Raw Food" in Old Trafford (http://www.meetup.com/Raw-Vegan-Manchester/).
I'm just messaging you as I have a spare room in my house (in Manchester, Old Trafford, 15m walk from Unicorn) available and wondered whether you know any fruity or vegan people who might be interested. It will be available beginning - mid to October. Its just being re-decorated.

Hey there lovely! I've just read your post on the 811 UK group. I'm from Sheffield as well! Would love to chat, hope to hear from you soon! Have a lovely day xoxo
Hi, the Raw Fruit Festival www.raw-fruit-festival.net will be held from August 30 to Sept 5 in southern Spain, maybe you'd like to join. 10 days left to get the early bird discount! Cheers
Yer you're right, its just the temptations are hard to avoid. But I will get there.
Its easy to eat vegan in London, but its also easy to eat vegan junk food! Soooo many cool vegan restaurants to try.
I was eating much cleaner when i was in Sheffield almost 100% fruit and greens.
It all went down hill when i moved to London. I'm slowly bringing it back though working towards Fruitarianism.
