I've suffered with an irritable bowel, dangerously undereating, was in hospital for half a year and I tried the raw food diet a year ago but it was difficult to stay on it and I realise now it is because I wasn't eating enough and would have 30% + fat. I would love to interact with people who have similar interests as me and I'd love to make new friends. It is hard to socialise with friends when most love to get drunk every weekend and eat the SAD way.

The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
Is it ok to have no organic fruit? It can be really expensive. I mostly get fruits with skins that you don't eat (bananas, mangoes, dragonfruit) so it's not as bad as eating non-organic fruits and their skin (apples, pears, peaches etc)?
The Frugivore Diet is a fruit-based vegan internet community which promotes a high carb fruit based vegan lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to this. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
I will comply because I like totally agree with all this

I'd love to share my experience with you! I also took a 200 hour TEFL course, online through International TEFL academy, which is based out of Chicago. I started looking for jobs while still working on my hours and found an agency called Bangkok Success, who I currently work for. I also interviewed with other schools directly and spoke with recruiters. The reason I chose BKS over the other opportunities is because they offered 5 month (one semester) contracts rather than a year.
Living in Thailand has been a blast! I live in a really small town, which does make things kind of difficult as far as food variety and accessibility, but teaching kids and just being here is so fun and different. Thankfully I've done a ton of traveling on the weekends to the islands in the south, several of the big cities like Bangkok, and of course I'm in Chiang Mai now for the festival.
My two tips would be to get a motorbike (your choice if you want to buy on or rent one) and pick a town that's slightly bigger. Chiang Mai would be great but it's pretty competitive. Other good locations would be Chanthaburi and Chonburi.
Also, teaching is so fun and EASY! Make sure you find a company or school that already has a curriculum for the students rather than you making your own. BKS provides a full curriculum for my students who are between 12 and 14 years old.
I hope this helps and if you have any more questions, I'm more than happy to help.
Cheers
Oops, I only just saw your comment. Didn't mean to be rude. The fruit is nothing special, I found one organic food co op but a part from that it's just standard markets (poor quality) or supermarkets. I'm booked my flights for Thailand today so very excited.
Yeah it's good thanks! I'm at an induction for my new job at the moment which I start on the 10th of March, so I'm really nervous but also very excited :) how about you? I know you were confused on whether to stay or not, right?
omg!!! you're going to hang out with Hannah for a week in England!!! Give her a big hug for me! Have fun over the holidays together. See you in thailand??

Yea I'm going to the WFF, too. Will touch down in NYC 30th of July, we should so hook up there and check out the fancy raw vegan cafes and stuff we don't have here.
After the festival, I'll be flying out off Albany pretty much straight after..
Actually I had to fly to auckland to get my visa for sydney because I didn't work when I came from germany. I had a model agency for that week in auckland but I didn't do much, I didn't know anyone so I was just walking around being in nice cafes like dizengoff, I wasn't vegan or raw at the time. I did that shot. Berlin is cool and great but Auckland and Sydney is a completely different mentality I love it there!
