I am an artist and educator. I relocated to the USVI in 07 with my husband. I have been vegan with raw tendancies for almost 10 years. Aspiring to be 90% if not 100% raw to transform my health, dealing with specific issues of pcos and infertility. Even so with my challenges my health is really good compared to what it could be and I attribute that to staying away from animal products and allergens. I am here to find out more about Living raw and eating for proper caloric intake. I made myself a blender of fruit smoothie this morning (over 1,000) and it was bliss! I chose the name MamaRaw Yogini because these are things I aspire to be, in that order, so please bear with me as I make my transition!

MamaRawYogini,
I moved to the Virgin Islands about one year ago. I live on St. Croix, but travel to St. Thomas on occasion. I am struggling to do this lifestyle here. Please tell me if you know of others raw foodies on the islands, and how you get affordable, reliable, local fruit.

thanks a lot for your touching words in my time of need. It means so much to me going through all i'm going through. I' trying to get stronger and stronger with each day that passes so one day ppl's words will hit my shield of armor and bounce right off :-) I will also pray for you tonight that God sends you your miracle baby...I know you will get the baby you desire in due time. thanks again :-)
I went there 2 years ago and i liked it. it was a beautiful island.
I loved the beach. I was there on a carnival cruise trip, so I never actually
stayed there. What's the prices like over there? is rent cheap/expensive?
I want to relocate to some tropical island, so I'm just considering all avenues.
Hi Love! How's the fruit down in the VI???
