Hi, My name is Marcie and I live in Michigan. I stopped eating meat when I was 15 and became a vegan when I was 21. I have been a vegan (mostly) since. I have been trying to get into the raw food lifestyle for a couple of years now and each year I read more about it and bring more raw food into my life. I am hoping to find a community that is closely related to my views. I have no vegan/vegetarian friends and everyone always thinks I am a nutball so transitioning to fully raw has been a struggle.

I really just need more people around me that are not telling me what I am doing or what I want to do is wrong. After not eating meat for 20 years, I am used to the questions and accusations about whatever, but moving into the raw area is just another step that I have to defend to everyone around me. ARG.
