Converted to a vegetarian diet about a year ago. My goals were to increase energy and health. I had good success initially but lately lost the energy gains and started wondering why I am developing a large gut.
Doing some research online I saw an interview durian rider had up on YouTube. Could it be that I'm getting too much fat in my diet? The 80 10 10 diet was mentioned in the video so I got the book and I am going to give it a go.
So my goals are still to increase energy and get lean and healthy. Considering renting a mountain bike to see how my back and knee hold up. If that doesn't work there is always swimming. My diet has been more raw till 4 than all raw vegan but we will see if at some point I can handle a fully raw diet.
I picked the the name Puggernaut because I have a loveable older Pug living with me.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are...
I love fantasy novels by Brandon Sanderson, George RR Martin and the like. Pastimes are all sedentary at the moment. Hope to add cycling to the mix.
The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
Recipes, motivation, advice for a middle aged dude with achy joints who wants to get active. I'm committed to a no meat diet for ethical reasons, but a mostly fruit diet is a big change for me. And low fat... I can easily eat a pound of cashews as I snack and I love to put olive oil on everything. so dinners will be a challenge for me. Smoothies for breakfast I think I can handle :)
