Oh geez, I've been vegan for about 10 years, and started feeling amazing 3 years or so ago, when after reading "Raw Foods For Busy People" I tried eating raw for 3 days. I felt SO good, I kept it up, going for a half year or so with tons of energy and best of all, no anxiety or depression, which I've struggled with a bunch. The "high" plateaued, and I felt really good for another year or so, with struggles eating raw and traveling (this is still my biggest challenge). I started feeling better as I started eating more greens, and especially drinking wheatgrass; that is the clearest, sharpest, most balanced and yet intense i've ever felt. BUT. I love love love greens, and am confused by all the different info i've heard. In my first year or so of eating raw, I was super into David Wolfe's sunfood book, yet parts of it freaked me out, and I'm weary of going too heavy into one persyn's opinion too much, and slowly saw maybe that book psyched me up and had me going down that route too much, which proposes 3 parts fats, chlorophyll, and sugars. And stresses NO bananas... anyways, there's so much info out there. I'm fucking confused. I wanna give the tons of fruit thing a go. It's rad this community is set up for it. I have doubts, like my lack of money, and me being a energetic swimming, running, biking, frisbeeing, basketballing, drumming, guitarring nut requiring me to eat insane amounts of food, and the calorie counting. I don't want to! ha ha. I don't see the point, and it seems to overanalytical; but i'm stoked to be proven wrong and am open-minded as one could be. I come in here having both doubts and excitement. I'll never eat animals again, I just want to fine tune and figure out what gives me mental clarity and energy again. I'll get psyched on raw, and then unpsyched, and eat really shitty stuff like chips or burritos or soda, and that never used to happen. I want to feel pumped like I did before, and really stoked and sure of what I'm eating. For a while people would inquire about my eating habits and see my energy and passion for raw foods, and it was awesome, (sometimes awkward) sharing; but now they still come to me, and they think I still have the passion. But I don't! Sometimes, but not consistently like I did for 2 years before. I want that passion back! Bam!

Dang. I think I listed some of that in the "what brought me here" thing above. I just want to weed thru all the different opinions, and find the best vegan diet for me. I want to stop drinking soda, forever! I had poured my last soda down the drain one day and stopped for like 3 straight years, and now I find myself emotionally eating shit like burritos, cookies, chips, soda. I would like to not eat my way to happiness at all, but it'd be better as a step to reach for fruit rather than soda. Ugh, I know that would benefit me so much more! I am struggling breaking habits, i want to start new ones! I run and do shit like burpees, pilates, handstands, and getting into using my body's weight to gain muscle. But not to get "ripped" or anything, I dont give a fuck about that, I just want energy, clarity, and better sleep and yeah endurance and more strength. Ehhh I dont know i guess that's good, eh? I definitely want to find out mroe about this calorie counting shit; that sounds really annoying. Ha ha. Maybe it's easy once you get going, just like how my family has asked me for ears how I survive eating vegan and raw, yet they're all sick and sore and struggling. I think it's super badass how yall eskew the calls for more protein. I've always thought protein was mega overrated, and I want to be more firm in that knowledge... Lots of stuff....

day 1 bananas, i think monomeals just bananas it's what i can do for now, i just don't want to think to much in food, i just need to rest my digest system for a bit.
I hope i can do this some days i'm not sure how many, and i get dates too, so i can blend some with water and have that for a few days as well as a mono.
I been drinking green juices in the mornings and that really make me feel good, but about 1:00pm i want to eat everything that gets on my way, so i hope if i having bananas blended with water i can feel good all day, i just need to change the switch on my brain. And hopefully become more relax about food.
