I'm an American man, 48 years old, living and working at an organic farm owned by a Buddhist temple here in Thailand. I'm more interested in Zen though, than Buddhism. I've lived in Asia most of my adult life, about 22 years.
I've been eating mostly raw foods for about 17 years. I'm not thriving so I'm looking for advice. I want to gain weight. And, I want to see what this is about ... eating THIRTY bananas in one day is something else.

Help ...?
I WANNA KNOW MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU ALL EAT!
I wonder if your 30 per day are cavendish, the big ones that most people in many countries simply call "bananas" or if you're getting smaller ones.
I live at a farm owned by a Buddhist temple in Thailand. In a few months there will be lots of bananas and papayas, and next year there will be more fruits. This farm is less than a year old.
Like I said above, I WANNA GAIN WEIGHT. I get quite a bit of exercise from the farm work so I'm supposing I don't need to do exercises, but who knows. Also, I'm sure I get enough calories, though I just might be wrong on this one. I WANT TO THRIVE IN LIFE. I realize that there are many people whose lives have improved enormously. Mine has improved, but nothing like ENORMOUSLY. I realize that food isn't the only thing to address. I have started to get more sleep because I realize this is important, and that I haven't gotten enough sleep for many years.

Hello, thank you for the answer! yes, I don´t know if that is the right place for me. I am looking for a place where I could spend 2 to 3 months in about 2 years, a place where I could have great organic fruits and relax, just chill out and get some sun. I have chronic fatigue and lots of stress, so I feel that to get well I need peace, sunlight and good foods. Thailand must be a good place for me :-). 2 to 3 months would be to start, then later I would love to live and work abroad when I am well.
