  • Yes.. I feel better on 811rv than on McDougall.   On the cooked I fill with Mucous and have really bad brain fog.

     

    McDougall is a real upgrade from the SAD... I like to think of it as minimally harmful....

  • Hi! About your question about cooked grains and fruit:

    I think it really depends and you have to decide for yourself. I do belive that if you want to eat cooked it's best to do it on constant basis and stick to it otherwise it's just going to be causing more problems than it's worth because you're body isn't used to it. 

     

    However I can also say that cooked food doesn't work for me and I've decided to stick to only raw. For me the biggest problem with healthy cooked food is that after being raw for so long it simply adds too much stress and then the stress leads to other problems, so for me it's not going to work :)

  • when i was high fat raw, i had a breakout of eczema (or something like it) on my chin, as well as extremely dry and red skin directly under my eyes.  i'd never had this before, and tried everything i could think of to get rid of it.  only MSM cream worked for me, and worked almost immediately—even when eczema/psoriasis cream would not.  it didn't clear up any acne though, that i find clears up best when, aside from eating cleaner, you forgo moisturizers and let your skin heal on your own.  i'm prone to facial redness as well, which didn't go away with MSM, though is quickly disappearing on 811.

  • Yes, zucchini, red pepper, tomatoes, cukes . . . I really like the little pickling cukes . . .very refreshing!  Tonight I had shredded zucchini with campari tomatoes on top (2 big bowls) and then some barhi dates for dessert!  It was all delicious and so easy!  Nothing is easier than living on fruit. Also today I've had oranges, cantaloupe, and bananas.  Oh, peas . . . I think they are technically a legume.  ♥
