Hello! My name is Alyssa. I'm born and raised in California. I first started my transition to a vegan lifestyle in 2007 and have been a passionate vegan since then. Although I've naturally gravitated towards a frugivore diet most of my life I first became aware of the concept in 2012 when meeting a raw foodist at a TEDxOjai conference. I've gladly been eating almost fully raw vegan ever since!

Some of my favorite books I've read so far have been Ishmael, Way of The Peaceful Warrior, Taking Charge of Your Fertility, The Best that Money Can't Buy: Beyond Politics, Poverty, & War, Taoist Secrets of Love, Healing Love Throught the Tao, The Humanure Handbook, Light on Yoga, The Four Agreements, and The Alchemist.
I love surfing, yoga, dancing, skateboarding, biking, hiking, traveling, slack lining, gardening, playing music, writing, painting, hanging out with friends. Most of everything outdoorsy and creative.
