To get to 100 days we need to have enough fruit around the house, eat at least 3,000 calories a day, drink 2+ liters of water a day, EXERCISE, sleep enough!

Hi everyone,I am a total newbie and just about to start transitioning into 80/10/10. I have read that following the diet takes a lot of organisational skills, preparation and planning. Before I even started I am already put off a little. I was wondering if you can share with me your typical day/week. How many times do you buy fruit, in what quantities, do you have to keep half of it in the fridge? What do you take to work for breakfast or lunch? How do you prepare for going away and holidays?…

Read more…Hello to everyone out there! I started a 100 day challenge starting today! I was 100% raw for 6months last year until my husband came home from Okinawa, Japan. He came home and guilt tripped me pretty bad about not cooking for him and not sitting down to eat with him(he'd be gone for 18months/Marine Corps.) Now Hes gone again to Afghan and Im just completely sickened with myself at how I let it all go! So now Im back at it and I cant wait to get past the intial first stage! Last time I did a…

Hi Everyone:
I have started on 811, which is really exciting. I feel like its been a challenge but trying to stick to it. However, I have noticed that I have not lost any weight and in fact it feels like I'm gaining. I currently weigh 120 and I am 5'2. Also, I have not really noticed too many changes. I am on day 4. Although, not a long time, I am hoping to feel something soon. How long before most people notice, even slight changes?
Day 12! 100% baby...been good no cheating. My weakest area of 80/10/10 tho has been getting enough sleep. Need to be more disciplined and get to bed earlier!
Day 7 of 100% 811rv! Loving it. But yes I still need my sleep...cannot do without that no matter how healthy we eat! :-) I was offered fudge last week and had the will power to say no!
hey everyone..im on day four of going raw..exciting stuff..hows everybody going??im having difficulty but im going to get throught it i know:)mostly tired and toxing hard..im not 100%raw but really love to be but finding the motivation is hard, been about 70% raw one meal is vegan at night..any one got any advice??im also struggling with the fact i work in bar, with real fatty resturant meals around me,so its a big challenge..luckly they make ok basic salads!!)
Hey all, I'm on day 13 and doing well!! I have been tired on and off, sometimes very tired, and have tried to rest when I can. Also quite emotional and angry at times, but am sticking in, blinkers on, watching as much inspirational 811 videos as I can, keeping connected to this thang, as the world around me is very different. I have been rebounding most days and today felt more energy flowing through, things are moving.....YAY! Making sure that I am eating lots of fruit...more calories than I need which really helps and keeps me satiated and not needing /craving other food. cheers, hope everyone is going well :-)
=D
Hello everyone, I started LFRV on 11.11.11, an auspicious day! I have been in and out of a raw diet for around 4 years, alot of the time doing it without being well informed, or with the support I needed. In that time I did 811 for around 4 weeks. i have to say I felt amazing. I have been struggling with certain health issues during this time which still are lurking, even though I have done alot of different things to heal. However, I am feeling strong enough physically once more to give this a a go and am very determined to make it through at least 3mths/100days in order to see if I can really regain my missing health. I am chowing down on a big salad right now and feeling pretty good on day 8, even though I was woken alot during the last couple of nights, so feeling very tired today, young children will do that to you. ;-)

Okay, outside of being RAW for 100 days- let's hear everyone's goals, or reasons to go RAW....
I will start.....First and foremost- it is the healthiest way of life! Second, it is best for the animals. Third, it is friendly towards our environment. Fourth, having said all that, it will actually help better lives of others as well, less pollution in the air from the factories and such more animals to give back to life, more healthy trees and more plants being grown all add to the quality of life for EVERYONE!....Next, as far as being healthy- yeah, I will admit I want to LOOK GOOD- I would like to lose those extra few pounds I have hanging around....also prolonging my life to help others and make a great life for myself. Finally, I want to WIN my first and hopefully not my last running race and knock the socks off my competition, while wearing and promoting the RAW VEGAN lifestyle!.....
Reasons why I came to 30 BAD: SUPPORT of like minded people, new friends to last a long lifetime, hey maybe we can get together at the next Woodstock Fruit Festival or another festival! Or just visit each other!.....POTLUCK anyone?!?!?.....MOTIVATION- you motivate me, I'll MOTIVATE you!......To learn things that I may not know already, and maybe share my knowledge and/ or experience with others as well and maybe teach others something too!.....
