Yes, the time has come for a PDC that caters for us!  This will be my debut as a Permaculture Teacher and I’m very looking forward to passing on the knowledge I have collected from many fantastic permacultre sites around the world.  I’ve been on a quest to learn how to be self sufficient to eventually develop my future property covered in an edible fruit forest!  Food forests have been my focus and are something my teacher Geoff Lawton taught me a lot about on my 3 months training with him. The required animal content of the course will focus on things like; attracting wild animals by observing their natural habitats and foods and recreating those on your property and similar techniques.  Animals are an essential part of any natural ecosystem but this does not mean we have to cage them and abuse them to get them to do the work they instinctively do!

The course will be held at Loren Lockmans Tanglewood Wellness Centre in Panama from the 3^rd of December till the 17^th of December.  Loren has personally assured me that any 811er’s who attend will be supplied with an abundance of fruit to eat during their stay!  If you are not familiar with Loren Lockman, he teachers basically the same info as Doug Graham but is on the low calorie side of the fence.
