    Hi guys! I'm a friendly super active raw vegan in Houston looking to do a double ironman triathlon in Portland July 14th to 17th, if anyone is interested in hosting me in your home for a few days, in exchange for unlimited triathlon or health coaching or just for general great vibes, please let me know! Or maybe you know someone who would be interested?

    The flight, rent a car, race, etc are really adding up, so I need to find ways to save on expenses before I register for the race in the next few weeks! Of course you're also welcome to come check out the race, it's at Henry Hagg lake, and is a race unlike any other, 4.8 mile swim, 225 bike (with 15,000 feet of elevation) then a 52 mile run!

    A great service for us West Coasters is Bolt Bus. It's a new service with new buses (clean), free wifi, and the best thing is that there are not many stops - I can get from my place in Portland to Seattle with one, maybe two stops in between. So it's very time-efficient. And it's cheap.

    That said, I'd love to meet up/hang out with any fellow raw(ish) vegans in the area =)

Visiting Portland

Is there anyone in Portland OR. who I could stay with for a week or two in the beginning of July. I will be there from either July 5th-9th or 5th-15th. Any PNWers have vegan kids??!

I have a 2.5 yr old & a 6month old boys and they need vegan friends to chill with, my older son is easily influenced by kids so other veg kids to hang with would be AWESOMEWe're near Auburn but go up to Everett occasionally & also spend a good amount of time in Salem
