    Any Toronto divers? I just learned about freeganism and diving and would like to go diving with someone who has done it before.

    Yes you could get arrested or beaten up by the workers. Depending were you are I guess. The workers of the supermarket around the corner of my house have beaten a girl I know who was diving there. In her face. So watch out. I think in belgium someone had court for diving.

    Dumpster diving for food sounds so appealing to me. Heaps of food for free! But is there any way one could get in trouble for doing it? (Assuming they don't make a huge mess)

    That's what I found in Utrecht (The Netherlands), and I didn't took more because I couldn't carry more weight... it's impressive how much they throw!

    Yes. yes. Yes. I used to dive for my fruits and veggies, but after affliating myself with a registered non profit I was able to collect from the store instead of diving, food goes to rescue animals, the poor, and our family.

    You live Vancouver Area ?

    I would give all to live their, but havent studied yet and Canada´s Universitys are expensive, if  don´t have a canadian citizenship which i cant only get when i live their for 4 years. It s maybe much easier than in the US, but what yould i work in canada before studying without skills ?

Friendships while dumpstering

 Hey Nice to see this group!! I dumpster for nearly everything that I eat, but I almost always end up going on my own. My old friends don't want to do it and I have not been able to find many others that I can go with.  So I am kind of wondering if there are others in the same boat? Would love to stay in touch with people who share this passion to share experiences and so on, if anyone is interested.  The feeling of being isolated with your hobby is just really very frustrating, maybe you know…

Los Angeles Dive spots?

Most grocery stores I've been to have a pretty secure and closed off dumpster. For any of those LA divers out there where are the stores that are accessible, or if there is any advice on how to do this in LA without getting in trouble of course.
