Anyone who's actively modeling knows that there is pressure to stay thin. I want this to be a group where we support each other to stay HEALTHY while creating amazing images! Also, I'm hoping there are other models on 3BAD. Are you out there??

Hello lovelies! So I'll be honest, I am "high-carb" on and off. I always eat vegan, but while I FEEL amazing while eating high-carb, I honestly feel extremely self-conscious during photo shoots about having a "fruit belly". For me, it's just not worth it! I know Freelea says your body "balances out" eventually, but I am modeling NOW, and modeling lingerie and nude very often. If I only eat a little before a shoot - flat belly, it looks wonderful. If I chug a high-carb smoothie - there's the…

I've researched many dating sites, and for its many search capabilities and free communication, I say the best dating site in the whole world for raw vegans, or fruitarians is http://www.veggiecommunity.org (free to communicate too!)
Traveling Fully Raw i live in Hawaii an do Modeling although am traveling through Bali and am thinking about coming to Australia for some time :) does anyone know any Agents they'd like to share with me in Australia. i'd be very grateful and maybe there could be a commission for everyone involved, Much Aloha
Im 17, started modeling when i was 12. My figure has obiously evolved over that period of time- from size 00 to more like a size 4. It was pretty difficult to deal with and lead me to drastically restrict. But now i am better and happier than ever on this lifestyle!
I think it is important to remember that the main thing in life is to be happy and enjoy it! If you enjoy modelling than go for it but remember that good clean food is your friend, it gives you energy and nutrients, if you eat what you need, not out of emotions, than you for sure will not gain unnecessary weight on this diet. I am not strictly 801010 just because I dont pay so much attention to it on that level, just vegan for sure (as raw as possible), having low levels of fats and leaving out gluten etc- it will just make your body slim naturally plus all the energy you get from the carbs will motivate you to want to exercise. If I have a more active period I eat more bananas and dates, if not, I just dont...just try to treat your body with love, it is the only one you have and it will be there long after your modelling career is over in the years to come. So don't forget to keep your inner attitude and thoughts about yourself happy! :)
I understand how tempting is must be to go back to restriction. My family keep asking me why I can't just do what I did before to loose the weight. I think that you have to be determined that you want more for your life than anorexia and restriction. I think seeking support from other people going through the same as you is a great way to stay motivated to be healthy. And also accepting that you do not have to be a perfect 80/10/10 to get results and be kind with yourself when you aren't as perfect as you like. I also find that biking really help clear my head and keep me foccussed as well as making me feel like I have some control over my body . good luck xx
Hey aexis, well initially the agency told me to gain weight as I couldn't function on shoots however the weight has kept on going and I have gained from bmi of 13 to 22 is about4 months. Agency told me to take a break and come back when I am in a better place. Really struggling at the moment, hate the way my body looks and terrified I will gain and never stop. Yet really down sometime and am tempted to go back to restriction but I know I just can't live like that anymore. Recovery is shit but anything is better than living as an anorexic. I am stuck at home with nothing until I can beat this eating disorder and find a happier balanced relationship with food. Just remember that anything is better tham living as an anorexic and keep hoping for a better future. Good luck and message me if you want to talk xx
hey nathalie, hey alexis,
for me its very hard right now. i just "recovered" from my eating disorder and trying to get back to model shape now, really in love with this lifestyle but its very hard for me to follow exactly.. im going to london now and need to loose some pounds.. for me its also very hard that everybody of my friends and family are trying to eat low carb to loose pounds, its not working for me and i have a lot of digestive problems, even eating raw vegetables sometimes. they look at me like i'm from another world and say i should go with low carb as well.. its also a little hard to eat out in restaurants so sometimes i feel like i dont want to eat at all and fall a little back into the eating disorder and starving.. may anyone has some advices? thank you all :)
That's great Natalie, so nice you are going about looking good the healthy way :)
