I'm 27 years old, just graduated nursing school and looking forward to starting my new career. I've been interested in 80/10/10 for about a year, and have gone on and off the diet a few times. When I consistently eat 80/10/10 I feel amazing! It is the most powerful way of living I have come across. It undeniably produces positive changes in my outlook and functioning, and it gives me tuns of energy.

Happy Birthday! Hope it is a B-E-A-UTIFUL DAY!
Hey Alexander!
It's nice to meet you and thanks for the friend add. =)
Aloha, Alexander!
Your mom and I have been friends on the boards for some time now, and I'm pleased that you're experiencing so many positives flowing from the lifestyle, as well.
Congrats on completing your recent degree, too.
If I can be of any assistance, just hollah! :)
omg wow, I can only handle 1 mango in a smoothie. If I do two mangoes I get full very fast! I end up having to freeze the rest of my smoothie.
hope you enjoyed your power yoga
Great to meet a fellow martial artist. Is your taiji an internal art or similar to tai chi?
Personally, I followed Dr. D's advice when I started 811 almost 4 months ago by slowly incorporating more and more raw food into my diet. Basically, the more raw food I ate, the more likely I was to not eat cooked food simply because I wouldn't be hungry for it. The high fiber and water content as well as nutritional value of these raw foods are great for keeping you feeling full for longer. The trick is to become accustomed to the volume of food that is needed and this just takes some time. I'm still new to this whole process myself.
My mom and step dad live over in the Berkely area in Cali...right next door to you. I was down there for the first time a few weeks ago. It was awesome! San Fran was gorgeous. Wonderful area for sure : )
