I've been high carb high raw vegan, for about 7 yrs now. Night and day difference in health and fitness compared to my past life.
You're right--the best way to learn something is to teach it.
Here's to your next four fine years, Bill :)
Hi Bill,
Could you tell me how you acquire your food in that area? Do you travel south once a week or is there enough yellow sugary goodness in your area?
:)
Take care.
Hi! I was using the Solgar brand but am now using the Whole Foods brand. Both have worked very well! Cheers!
Thanks Bill
not many know the feeling of dread when it comes to meal time. I get anxiety every time I eat. I never know how I will end up. Unless you have this condition no one really understands it. Most people think it's just a tummy ache. I have half a watermelon waiting for me once my stomach is ready. If I run low on fruit, what's the best cooked vegan option? How did you heal your digestion? I know it will be a long and hard process, but if their are any steps you took that would help me, I would really appreciate the help.
No way! I'm an AA member too.....nine years. And now O.A. is supporting me on this journey. What a small world! ha ha. That's great :)
Oh yeah... you can call me Rain if you like/remember to. That's my name. :)
Hey BananaBill! Thanks for checking in. :) I was actually logging on here to ask you a question.... during your recovery phase, what was your exercise like? Curious to know...
Since I posted on the forum I have been making a huge effort to eat more and it's been a revealing experience. First of all, I had been eating much less than I was estimating, probably 2500kcal a day max. Now I'm eating around 3000. It has made a huge difference, about a 25% improvement in how I feel. So, I take it to mean that all the advice was spot on. If I can get up to 4000, maintain it for a while, and also work on getting more sleep (I'm still only getting 7-8 hours), I think/hope I will be headed for full recovery.
Thanks again for sharing your story with me and for the support! It means a lot! :)
I am going good, main problem i have is just eating enough. Don't want to get too skinny. I guess it's adjusting as i'm not really having craving for fruit, little bit for oranges. Thanks
Thank you for accepting my friendship.
Hey Bill,
Haven't tried the hand trick yet because I didn't get the pain today at all. Strange.
