Hi, I've read 80 1010 by Dr.Doug Graham and I've been leaning into this lifestyle. Giving up fat has been harder than I expected but I'm very determined. Raw gourmet was an epic fail. I really need to heal. I'm very grateful that I've at least learned to mono eat fruit.

Dovina, you inspire me!
No, I lived in California for several years.
thank you! I've been using cronometer for a few weeks now, which is so helpful! i had a hard time getting off breads but entering them in there made me feel so guilty! lol! this community is so inspiring, thanks for letting me join! :)
Hi, Dovima, thank you so much for your kind welcoming words. It is so good to know that now I am right where I feel I belong, among so many people eating HCRW, like somewhere familiar and home-like :-)
Starting tomorrow I will be in the hospital until August for physiotherapy, but after coming back, hopefuly with good news, I will keep in touch.
Have a great summer :-)
Thanks for the friend request. I have pretty strong feelings towards most parts of Florida, the only part I haven't spent a lot of time in is the Keys(though I know people who spend a lot of time there) and the S.E. Coast, although I spent some time in and South of Miami. I'd love to hear and talk about your plans. It'd be great to meet up if we're down here at the same time! :)
Dovima,
Yes, almost everyday, I eat a mono meal or a mono snack of oranges with no side effects. Even in my SAD days, if I had indigestion or some issue, I would instinctively eat a mono meal or oranges and feel better within a few hours. I did not understand why at the time, but now I know that oranges are high in calcium and better than any tums at relieving digestive upsets, are high in vitamin C and good for immune system, are anti inflammatory, natural anti histamine and good for allergies, and have natural pain relievers. Oranges have never made me photosensitive. However, if I apply lotions or cosmetics and or use soap, I tend to burn in the sun.
What about your experiences? Are you eating oranges and or having any side effects from them?
Peace, PK
Thanks for asking.
I have a thought, but I'll run it by my associates and we'll let you know how best to proceed.
It sounds like you'd not be so much recommending juicing, as simply making it part of your personal practice, am I correct?
this bunny belonged to my roommate and she stopped caring for it, stopped feeding it, so i have been obligated to care for it while i find her a new home, which doesn't look hopeful for the moment. she isn't fixed so she's full of energy. she eats lettuce. it doesn't seem like a problem but maybe there's a science to it. i feed her everything. she loves all fruit except tomatoes. carrots and celery are her favorites. she's a dwarf rabbit i think?
as to how i am, i am within the line of neutrality, neither good nor bad, teetering each way every now and then. how is portland treating you?
Thank you, Dovima. I'm sure you understand how wonderful it is to get a compliment in our line of work :) I always enjoy your posts as well, another happy, smart mama.
would love to chat, if you can friend me Dovima.
