Go on long bush walks, trekking, climbing mountains, sleeping on the ground for weeks... I don't like being indoors.
Travel the world, meet new people, explore other cultures and learn languages.
Grow fruit and vegetables and herbs and natives. (That one is more like an obsessive compulsive disorder.)
And I love a challenge.

I was wondering what you do about accessing lots of fresh fruit in the Kimberley? I've been there a couple of times camping with my brother who lives at Fitzroy Crossing. The last time was a couple of years ago and I took my own food, but not fruit as I wasn't eating much then. If I was to go there again, I was wondering how I would source large quantities of fresh fruit. If you could provide me with any info about it, I'd really appreciate it. :)
Then you can laze in luxury, near fasting with just the occasionally fresh-picked berry for variety :)
If Che and others havn't allayed your fears of dates being dry, I'd recommend contacting Free and Harls for their recommendations--I know they gobble up dates like nobody's biz and would be able to direct you the gooeyest of the gooey.
Hey, if I've got to carry the bear, make sure it's a reasonably-sized one for comfortable portage.
No larger than this one, let's say...
