My name is Dennis,27 years old and I currently live in Nairobi Kenya . I've been here since 2011. I changed to a vegan, mostly raw (roughly 85%) lifestyle in May 2010 but over the years, began to gravitate more and more toward fruit. Just after the 1st of this year, having done research for 6 to 7 months, I decided to take the step into 95-100% raw vegan. Since then, I have been learning about the wonderful benefits of the fruitarian lifestyle and am now doing that. I love it!!! Smile.and i do plant most of fruits like bananas, passion, melon and avocado.
05/15/11 UPDATE - I've had some health challenges and feel like I've lost my way. I've had quite a bit of depression and feel very little motivation to try again with the fruitarian thing. In my heart, I want to feel that good again but I also don't know how to have the volume of food I need to not be hungry and waking up 3 to 4 times per night. Life has happened...I'm working at a job I absolutely hate a driver in one of the embassies and there's no one else that I know who is passionate about this like I am, other than my contacts online. I genuinely would love to live this lifestyle, if I had some support. I think that's a big key. I got scared and didn't have anwers, so I went back to a mostly cooked food diet because sometimes fruits became so expensive to buy. Through working with a Naturopath, I incorporated "clean meats" back into my diet, as I called them. I did that for nearly 6 months and went back to Both, still mostly cooked. That's where I am currently, but still with a desire in my heart to do the fruitarian lifestyle again. I just need some concrete answers that work.I hope to get honest friends.

Hi Dennis
Nice to meet you. I think you live in an interesting part of the world. How is the fruit there? Are there many varieties.
Hi new friend :) Have fun on the site!
Hey Dennis!
Thanks for the friend add.
Hey Dennis
Thanks for the add
Hope you're well :)
have a good weekend!
hang in there dennis and happy holidays! your body gets realy usedto high water content foods and reacts to them realy positivley after a while. i have to say that for me no diet works good without at least 40 minutes of exercise daily. it seems that that is the glue that tiest all together. its a very euphoric experience exercise and all the fruit. i can totally see why so many people are switching to this type of lifestyle. its is difficult but sometimes with these changes your old line of work is not as fullfiling as it used to be. sometimes a change in occupation can elevate ones spirits. best in the new year!
