I've always loved the idea of this lifestyle, but I've never had the courage to turn the cold shoulder while literally being mocked. Living in Nebraska is a living hell when you don't believe in the evil that is the meat and dairy industry. I have very few friends because of my beliefs, and I've just been feeling very alone lately. I joined this community to feel less crazy about my morality. I've been vegetarian most of my life and have tried flirting with veganism a few times. I've finally decided to say fuck it and give in to my soul for the sake of this planet.
