Hi! I make everyday the best day in the world. Strive for excellence. I used to see this saying in my gymnastics club 5 days a week when I trained very hard as a teenager. Now, as a 37 year old woman, I still train just as hard. I became a vegetarian when I was 15, then turned vegan for a year when I was 18. Then switched back to a strict vegetarian for about 5 years. When I turned 23, I meet a Taoist Kung Fu Monk who became both my Sifu and later on husband.
He managed to first get me to eat fish and then later on a bit of meat here and there. This man actually not only hypnotised me on my dietary requirements, but on many other levels. And so for the next 12 years, I spent my time on this hardcore warped spiritual Kung Fu trip.
Anyhow, I have been separated now from this man now for nearly a couple of years. At the beginning of this year I went to the Woodford folk festival, and my life changed forever. I was re-inspired, and my new years resolution was to once again be a vegetarian. In the last 2 months, I have just soared and I am now vegan. What I have been finding in just this last month, is a natural progression where most of what Im eating is raw. A typical day would be lots of fruit, dry fruit, nuts, apple cider vinegar, essene bread, veggies and tempeh. ( Oh, and I just friggin love my organic black coffee)I have always been a huge fan of organic brown rice and quinoa but Im not having it as much lately. Just coming into winter now, I am wanting organic oats as porrige with nuts and dried fruit. This would generally be on the days where I have a big morning at work. I work as a massage therapist at The Getaway Day Spa on Tamborine Mountain. I train 5 or 6 days a week and as a vegan now, I have never had so much energy during training. I have a new treadmill and this morning I challenged myself to do 1000 vt. feet in half an hour which I was very successful. I live at an old winery at the base of the mountain and I am endeavouring to turn it into a school of conscious thought. We have a huge place up the back where we have this amazing gym set up.
I know that I want to keep refining my diet lifestyle and so I hope that by joining your community, I can just keep getting better and better. I also feel I can contribute.
I came across this as I was you tubing fruitarians, and Durianriders 801010 diet warning came up. Dangers of 801010 style vegan diets. Well, I just thought the bit where he changed faces and said stuff like 'but don't you need to drink milk to get your calcium' was the most funniest thing in the world. I became an instant fan. And so here I am.
Purity, spiritual connection, inter galactic connection.
As below and so above.
