Hi my name is Hollie and im a british citizen living in the irish republic. I have been dancing with the concept of being raw vegan but due to circumstances surrounding a very forceful and not very supportive family things have been difficult for me to transition.(I have now moved out and removed this obstacle :D) I have been through all the excuses imaginable and since i was 16 and got glandular fever i have been in and out of doctors and hospital with everything you can imagine, even carbon monoxide poisoning! I am now trying to take control of my diet and my life and surround myself with supportive people who I can get advice from and maybe find some like minded people close to me! I don't even remember what it actually feels like to be healthy! and i have become almost obsessed with finding out what that is like! i have never tried any fad 'diets' im underweight so they would cause issues not to mention none of it ever resonated with me, i always knew all the 'food' my parents put in front of me wasn't even real food! then when i heard about raw food it totally made sense! felt perfect! and i have become obsessed with researching it and finding people to share in my journey, right now I'm going for it - 100% so lets see how it goes!

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are...

I am a spiritualist and training psychic medium, in my spare time i have i am a member of a non profit paranoral investigation group called Wexford Paranormal which can take up a lot of my time! one of my favourite books is The Power Of Now by Eckhart Tolle! I also love 80/10/10 and 'Ask and it is given' by Esther and Jerry Hicks.. i like reading books that will have a positive influence on me :)

That is pretty sweet, farmers markets will hopefully become more widespread in the future, fingers crossed anyway. I will definitely check out that supermarket, I never knew such a thing existed here. Hey :-) Thanks for the invite. There are quite a few people living in Ireland on here, I'm happily surprised. We're not exactly in the best place for fresh organic fruit and veg, but at least we have super sunny days all year round. ha

Yay! Never guessed I'd find someone else in Ireland on here! :) I really need that push to go from cooked to 80/90 per cent raw vegan...hopefully I'll find that on here! xxx
