Doin the HCLF cooked vegan thang in Atlanta, GA! Spent 6 months this past year living in Argentina, 2 months camping in the north on a farm/in the jungle, and then 4 months living in the concrete jungle mess of Buenos Aires. It was all amazing and incredibly challenging. I love Spanish and still have SO much to learn. I sing, and am expanding my repetiore into new genres (for me). I've had a relationship with rock climbing for the past few years, and have recently begun flirting with running on a regular basis... and enjoying it for the first time in my life, thanks to eating HCLFV and learning how to stay hydrated (thanks DR, Free, and MArstein's admonitions).

cool, GA's primo seasons are apr-nov. do u know any of the specifics of the internship, like what types of projects they are focusing on? .ya woofing it around hotlanta for a summer wouldnt be a bad gig either.
The fruit scene here is much the same as LR I imagine. Lucky for you, you aren't there...haha. We are doing pretty good but longing for the opening of the farmer's market. Ordering dates by the box, several monthly. I use them on the go in class and stuff, since they are so portable. We go through a lot. Thanks for the tip about Mike. I'll have to look him up. We started a raw group but haven't been terribly active since it's been cold. I know there is another one north of here. They tend to do a lot of oily dehydrated "raw" stuff...which differs from what we eat a lot, but still, nice to be in at least semi-like-minded company for sure. We'll have to get together sometime when you get back. I travel to LR for political stuff at least a few times a year.
Hi Jennie! Thanks for the message. I live in Fayetteville at the time. I'll actually be heading to Little Rock this coming Saturday for a Reproductive Justice Rally on the capital steps. I think there is a social after from 2-5 at the Oyster Bar...if you're into that sort of thing. Great place to network. I'd love to meet other LFHCRVs in Arkansas. Do you have many raw friends around here?
Hey Jennie,
I've been climbing now for about 10 years nows. I actually came to Canada (I'm from Australia) to climb. The mountains here are so amazing. I wish I could make down to the States before I head back home in November. But work is crazy, and I need to save for when I return to school. I know what you mean about travelling, diet and training. These things totally went out the window when I was backpacking through Europe / Uk last year.
After doing Banana Island for a week, I'm hoping to transition to HCRV. Though I struggle with it and would like to leave some room in there for the occassional cooked meal out with family and friends.
Where are you travelling at the moment? Got any plans to come to Canada or Australia? It alaways nice making new climbing friends from around the world! :) What do you climb? Trad? Sport? Boulder?
Hi Jennie, I've been HCRV on and off for about 8 months. I just finished BI today actually, and I feel amazing! I've been climbing for about 10 years now. What about yourself? How long have you been HCRV? And do you climb too? :)
Why thank you. That means a lot to me. I'm glad someone appreciates it. Yes please share it! :)
