Hi my name is Lil,
I have been vegan for two years. I was vegan growing up & I have loved animals my whole life.
At the moment I have a beautiful 11year old dog named Pocket, that i adopted from the pound were i was volunteering about a year ago.
I have my own business, walking dogs & looking after other peoples pets & I love it!
I am into meditation, Dahma teachings, I love yoga too.
I am currently in early days of studying psychology, I love learning about the human mind.
What brought me hear was...
Well i was 100% raw vegan for 7months & fell off that two months ago.
After reading Freelees book, i can see i made all of the same mistake she made at first. I have also come from a very similar back ground to Freelee, with the Ed & drugs.
I have been drug & alcohol free for two years.
I am trying really hard to get back & to stick to this HCRV lifestyle but am having trouble, mostly in the evenings with vegan junk food...
So i am here, hoping to get some extra support & meet some inspiring people.
Love.
:)

Please tell us about your dietary inclinations:
I really want to be HCRV and just need some guidance
Are you Connected?
no & keen to connect
My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are...
Taking my dog to the park.
At the moment I am reading True Refuge by Tara Brach.
I am not very good at naming favourites, because I like a lot of things.
Umm, Fern Gully was a fav movie of mine growing up, still awesome :)
The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
Well, I really want to stick to this life style,
i have read all of free lees stuff & I have been following her videos for a long time now. At the moment I am eating lots of fruit during the day, usually 8 bananas for breakfast or 5 oranges & 10-20 Dates for lunch then 5 cooked potatoes for dinner. Altho lately i have been finding myself going straight from work to commitments & going for vegan take away & junk food. I guess i need to be more prepared...
I have been getting therapy for eating disorder, which can make all this confusing... Appart from the over eating on vegan junk food at night I have been symptom free for a few months(no purging or fasting)
Basically I think I need extra encouragement & support to be on this life style & to remember or be reminded that i am not crazy for wanting to live this way.
Because i really want to experience living & loving life to its fullest!

Hello welcome,
Awesome to see more people from Sydney on 30bad. I am a 33/m and cycling my way home from living in London for the past 8 years. I will be back in Sept/Oct and would love to meet some new people/fruit munchers on my return, maybe organise a bit of a spring time fruit luck. Until then all the best.

Hi Lil Green C,
I live in Mittagong and come down a bit every now and then. Have you checked out Freelee's Bananagirldiet page on Facebook. That could really give you the support you need and also there's a bananagirldiet group that meets up every few months in Sydney (last few times at Auburn Botanic gardens. If you friend me on facebook (anthea falkiner) I'll give you the link to the next meetup invitation.
