I've been vegan for about nine year, but for the last year or so, it hasn't worked as well as before. I've started gaining weight and my doctor put me on low-dose thyroid. Also, I've read that low dAGEs and low methionine are health promoting and raw foods would have the least of them. I'm wondering if going raw will help me get my edge back.

The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
Wondering if I need to take supplements on HCRV and which ones. Can I run into trouble by spiking my blood sugar with too much fruit? How about nuts and seeds? Would eating raw rolled oats, rice or other flours or bean sprouts be okay? Is there a way to eat raw legumes- would I even want to?
The Frugivore Diet is a fruit-based vegan internet community which promotes a high carb fruit based vegan lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to this. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
I will comply because I like totally agree with all this

OMG Paul ! How cool that you can get oranges at that price !!! Ours cost a fortune and are usually dry and bitter :-(
Most likely I need to go back to just drinking water. No biggie... I've done that for a long time. Just thought OJ might help bring my calories up until I can eat more fruit. Thanks !! :-)
I googled the book and read the amazon reviews. Thanks for the info on the book. I had not heard of it.
I read your post below from March 28 and I'm also "not very social". I'm also a "hermit". I don't get solitude being as I care for my daughter with disabilities but I love quiet moments and a very slow pace :-)
Thank you for the message Paul!! I could use all the encouragement I can get!! :-)
HI Paul, things are ok for me here at any rate; doing a job I enjoy, back in my hometown to see out my 83-yr old mum, and learning all the time mostly thro this site and Dr Graham's.
Glad you joined - this site above other info has kept me veering increasingly toward raw vegan over the last 2 years, it's very helpful esp to newbies and has many interesting discussions.
sounds like you joined sincerely seeking better health, which is really the most effective motivation in progressing into the lfrv lifestyle. I'm sure you will find your way there, I feel it's worth it!
Misguidance is silly. She used to be nice but she asked so many questions people kinda got antsy with her and now her attitude sucks. I'm sorry but it's not like people are ignoring her, she's still getting very helpful answers, she's just rejecting it all now because a few people got rude. Just ridiculous.
