Bought a bike to lessen the stress on my knees from running. I am a hefty 85kg at 5'7'' and come from a background of heavy meat consumption and heavy weight lifting. I came across durian rider videos whils t loking for some cycling guidance and realised that this was maybe what I really wanted. Only one way to find out, try it. A week in I feel really good. Really hope it is the answer. I don't mind if I shrink or lose strength, as long as I am getting fitter (for my age, 50) and feeling tip top, that is enough.
