I came to this lifestyle unexpectedly, on a longer journey to regain my physical and emotional health after a long time of not treating my body right. As a single mom I realized I had to get healthy for my daughter. I quit smoking, drinking and eating garbage but was still looking for a meaningful, long-lasting lifestyle that was true and sustainable. While on this path came accross Gary Y's and Freelee's channels which prompted me to do a lot of research and a lot of re-learning. After watching countless documentaries, talks and videos I finally saw Earthlings the decision was made for me. I was no longer going to contribute to this horrific suffering and it was amazing that the right thing to do was also the right thing for my own health. I am still learning every day and I hope to flourish in this lifestyle and eventually extend it to my child.
