Yes Ukuleles are from Hawaii(in a roundabout way) the word means "jumping flea" in Hawaiian. The ocean here is like a pool in heaven. Come check us out! You will make many friends here and the tickets(try Alaska air) are pretty cheap.

You should see the stars from Mauna Kea! There is more white than black up on that sacred spot! And the sunsets and sunrises! Whew!
No I did not grow up in HB but I spent my 19th year there and I do have some fond memories (mostly of skateboarding and surfing) but the smell of sewage, fuel refineries, and the "traffuck" was a little much for my sensitive soul.
I have much respect for your optimistic attitude. I wish you nothing but happiness and beauty.
