I would like to know this because I went 100% fruit with no transition seven months ago, and since then I have been detoxing way too much including juice fasting for two months and extreme calorie restriction throughout due to not having access to good fruit. Now the reason I ask is that the cooked carbs are very dense and I'm concerned about how they will affect my digestion after this period of detox and going so long without solid food. I mostly ate blended bananas and blended apples without the skin during these 7 months because I lost the enamel on my teeth.I have a theory that people who are used to eating cooked carbs can handle them and people who have had a raw diet for a long time BUT have detoxed very well can also handle them, but I am somewhere in the middle where my body is not used to them but it is also not in a vibrant state where it can handle everything because it's so clean.Any thoughts on this? I feel I shouldhsve just started with raw til 4 and done that for several years. Can my body go back to rice and potatoes now? The reason that it concerns me is because I have been involved with communities that maintain that cooked starches become glue in the intestines.

you need calories now no matter what, get whatever you can and start to eat today. as for cooked, the easiest to digest thing with significant calories is sweet potatoes/yams, the second best option is rice, white rice will be easier on digestion than brown but both are okay. go buy these now and cook and eat them. your digestion will take some time to get used to eating more and to get used to cooked, not a big deal, just stay hydrated, peeing 10+ times daily.
Eat any vegan carbs you have to in order to get enough!
You will be so much happier if you eat as much calories as your body needs and craves even if it is a bit harder on digestion. Don't be afraid of rice and potatoes! They may be a little bit difficult at first but it is sooo worth it to eat enough food. Obviously, raw fruits and veggies are the best, but get your carbs in any way you can. You will have a lot more energy and be overall healthier.
