hello all,i've decided to write an update bout my HCRV journey. i started eating fruity december 7th 2011 and have been pretty close to 100% since then. i'll say 98% to be exact. the 2% falls into the times when i've licked my fingers after making a pb&j sandwich for the kids i watch, or back in february when i had a few pickles. but i havent sat down and had a cooked food, or any more than a spoonful of quinoa since i've begun. so these little slips may be hindering some of my journey, but…
Read more…So how is everyone? I hope we are all going strong and kicking some butt! I am new to the LFRV lifestyle and my goal is that by the end of summer I will be 90-100% LFRV. Seeing its summer it will make it a little easier to transition. so here is my story as short as I could make it. Also don't be shy to share yours :DI was brought up eating meat and ate a lot of bad carbs through foods such as pasta, breads etc. I LOVED my fruits and veggies growing up and was always picky about my meats.…
Read more…I have been following HCRV diet for 4 weeks and it seems that I have lost a lot of weight the first 3 weeks and now I have stopped. It is also harder for me to eat the required amount of calories. I eat about 8-10 bananas 1 or 2 pineapples, 2 or 3 mangos,1 bell pepper,1 cuke, some kale,watercress,2 mangoes,4 dates. some blue berries and a bunch of mixed baby greens. Smoothies make me really bloated. Any ideas? my skin has dried out on my face and it is red and blotchy. I also drink about 2…
Read more…Hello I started 100% Jan 2nd and I so love this lifestyle.... I love not being in conflict with my beliefs and feeling so well... So far I have been through the stages of: bloating in frist two weeks, skin getting better and better...and then a little worse and then better... energy being great... and now I notice subtleties and can see that my body is really only just beginning to heal... particularly my digestive tract... I have always had issues with absorption and this seems to be just…

CeNadra, welcome to 30BAD. What concerns me right off the bat is that you said "I hope I can keep it up". Why doubt??? You must be sufficiently motivated to be sufficiently committed to this program. It isn't a fast track to anywhere. It is a serious commitment to your health. Are you that commited?? What are your obstacles? Do you have support near you on the home front? Have you read 80/10/10 yet? Did you eliminate all meat, dairy (including cheese!!!!), packaged/boxed/canned/bagged phood from your kitchen? Did you load up on produce? Are you tracking? Use Cron-o-meter.
As you can see these are specific questions. I am one that IS commited. I hope you are too. Why do you want to go this route??
SO happy to be vegan! I've decided to be completely LFRV starting right now! I hope I can keep it up! I've only been vegan for 7 months and I feel so great! being low fat cooked vegan was quite a step for me so hopefully this site and this group can help me out =]
Carla, that would be wonderful. However, it is better for you to realize how strong you are and that any blip in the program can be overcome easily.
I will be starting in 12 more days!! I am really really excited and right now I'm in a 2 detoxing days of water, followed of 10 days of oranges detox :)
And then, ready to be 100% 80-10-10 HCRV... I hope everything goes perfect. :)
Welcome Luis Rios!
I just started today , Happy to be in the community :)
I will be starting 100 days of strict 80/10/10 in 27 more days. I will be doing a daily blog. My educational path led me to Natural Hygiene 20 years ago. Because of ridicule and negativitiy and lack of support I reverted back to sad and continued down the path of self-destruction with phakephood. I got very sick last year and got back on the path to HCRV thank God! I am no longer ill and am at the tail end of a 92 day juice feast. I couldn't afford the time away nor the cost of doing a water fast at the time. My body healed drastically. I can hardly wait until I am back on HCRV chewing! LOL
I'm happy to be part of this team. Hoping to give and receive support along the way to excellent health.
Hi everybody! Figuring 811 out for a month nouw and still struggling to get in enough calories... good mangos are so expensive in Germany! Looking forward to find new friends!
