Need a clean vegan room mate in Studio City
I thought I would post this here since I'm assuming anyone reading this is vegan. My room mate is moving back to Atlanta at the end of the month and I'm tired of moving again and would need a room mate.I need someone clean since this area is prone to ants and other bugs. I also just want the place to look and feel nice when coming home. I'm actually rarely home because of work and I stay over at my boyfriends house most nights so it will feel like your own place most the time. There is lots of…

Hello. I'm in Topanga at the moment - anyone recommend some low cost produce stores here or in Woodland Hills?
Hello fellow vegans and animal lovers,
Jen and Grace here, Tour Operators of the Southwest 10 Billion Lives Tour - www.10billiontour.com
We are traveling around the Southwest for the spring college semester, roaming one college to the next, showing students a 4 minute video that exposes the horrors of the farm industry, and then speaking to them about reducing meat and dairy in their lives.
We will be speaking at colleges in your area between February through May.
We have had luck in the past reaching out to other animals rights and vegan groups in the areas we travel in finding:
Folks willing to let us park in the driveway and charge (electrical cord) the batteries that power our kiosks, while granting us access to their bathroom (and maybe kitchen, spare bedroom, couch, etc).
Do you mind reaching out to members in your group to see if that may be up to host us or... interested in volunteering at our events speaking to students about transitioning to a vegan diet?
You can read more about us on my blog:

Looking for a distributor. I'm new to SoCal. I just moved from Sacramento where I was purchasing fruit and vegetables from the distributor (NorCal Fruit in West Sacramento). They had a great selection of organic fruit at wholesale, the only requirement was that purchases had to be $100 minimum. That was no problem for our family. I'm hoping someone can direct me to something similar here. I live in Hermosa Beach in case there is more than one and you can direct me to the closest one.
Hey guys!
so I am just starting out as a vegan, I've been eating rawtillfour for a couple days now and at first few days I was feeling Super amazing!! (a bit bloated but not too bad) and today I've been feeling my mind a little fuzzy and I have a bit of a headache and my stomach is constantly SUUPPPEER bloated! :( Help please! I honestly feel kind of scared because I am feeling sort of low on energy and feel a little off, I am not sure what I am doing wrong, I know this is the right lifestyle and right way to go but I am just feeling really scared and alone on this, I'm scared I'm not probably getting enough nutrients, I am scared my body might shut down on me (my mom keeps telling me I am not eating right), I am scared of gaining weight... I REALLY would love to talk to someone who has been doing this for a long time! For anyone who has been doing this for a while I would really love some guidance please!
Does anyone here live in Santa Barbara???
Hey guys, happy to say I have recently moved to LA! I come from the bay area :)

Pasadena’s Lower Arroyo Nature Park runs from the area immediately south of the Colorado Street Bridge to the border of South Pasadena. It spans about 150 acres and contains a fly-casting pond and archery range. Rubble walls retain the slopes and help define paths. It’s perfect for nature lovers and a great spot to walk your dog. Joggers, hikers and walkers alike enjoy the natural, rustic canyon setting shaded by oaks, sycamores, maples and countless white alders. Parking in the lot of Pasadena’s Lower Arroyo Nature Park, I like to go north and walk under the magnificent Colorado Street Bridge. The scenery is gorgeous and the trail crisscrosses a pretty seasonal stream that pools in spots making a nice place for your dog to “take a dip”. This is a fairly mild jaunt and takes about an hour. You can also head south towards South Pasadena. Here the stream-bed is contained in a concrete channel however the surrounding area is a gorgeous deep canyon. This path takes you under several bridges and by the site of the original Busch Gardens (1905–1937).
DIRECTIONS
CAR: Exit the 134 Freeway at Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena and go south on Orange Grove. Turn right onto California Boulevard and right again onto Arroyo Boulevard. The park entrance is on the left, just before Norwood Drive. Parking lot is at the bottom of the hill, on the left.
Alternately, take the 110 Freeway north until its end and continue north on Arroyo Seco Parkway. Turn left onto California Boulevard. When California ends, turn right onto Arroyo Boulevard and look for the park entrance on the left, just before Norwood Drive.
BIKE: There is no bike path along the Arroyo Seco, but Arroyo Boulevard is a designated bike route and a pleasant ride. There is easy bike access from the Metro Gold Line Del Mar Station; follow transit directions below,
TRANSIT: It's a bit of a walk (1.4 miles), but mainly through old Pasadena neighborhoods with big, beautiful houses. Take the Metro Gold Line to the Del Mar Station in Pasadena. Turn right (west) onto Del Mar Boulevard, cross and turn left onto Orange Grove Boulevard. Turn right on Arbor Street, left onto Arroyo Boulevard, and look for the park entry on your right across from Norwood Drive. Walk down the entry road to the bottom of the hill.
