My purpose in life is to continually improve my natural hygienic lifestyle, contribute, and cheerfully share the vegan message daily!
Eating Raw since Jan, 2007....I have experienced several back and fourth learning experiences and may have more in the future, and that is ok.
Feel my best practicing Fruitarian 100percent (with lots of durian and bananas).
I am a happy person........I love to live simple and Minimalistic and leave as little footprint on this earth as possible.
I sold most everything I owned in 2006 so I could travel the world as a vagabonding vegan and enjoy new cultures, surf, cycle, run, read, relax, be voice for animals, eat fruit, be outside as much as possible,
I have explored Fiji, Tahitii, Australia, AFrica, Brasil, Peru, Mentawaii's, Indo, Philippines, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Bali, etc.....and Now I am following the Durian trail in SE Asia from Penang Malaysia up to Chanthiburi Thailand and then back...
Philippines seems to have the best for me----Surf and durian together! (Lanuza area Nov, Dec.)
Please feel free to join in on some of this vagabonding life, it is way better then the 'working to buy more stuff life' that I once led.

Having a place to connect with other like minds is very important to me. I have not met many vegans while traveling SE Asia the last year, so this site helps inspire me and keep me sane.

hi Darrick, wonder where you are "roaming and thriving on durians" now...w.l. suggested I'd contact you cause perhaps you can help me with some tips about how to deal with birds, monkeys, anteaters, insects etc. eating away future "2 be" harvests of bananas, mangoes and other fruits...Any personal experiences with this issue ? Wish you a fruit full year : )

Been following your journey with raw foods when you and harley were doing your thing in asia. Lost track of where you are now but have just seen in a post that you have been to rio before? I am heading there this tuesday and was wondering if you have any good tips for me. Like good hostel or place to stay. Ideally I would like to rent a cheap room for a month so if you know anything please get in touch.

How is life? I've been a little busy here in Tokyo, but things are starting to slow down for me, and my Feb/March holidays are just around the corner. This means I have to decide on were to go. So, where are you hanging out these days, and were will you be in Feb/March? Do you know of any gatherings during that time?
