Thailand, Philippines, ....spring 2016
Fellow vegans,I'm a high carb vegan from Canada and I'll be traveling to Thailand next week, then going to the Philippines. I have a return flight from Manila in February but I am considering extending my trip.I have never traveled solo before so I am slightly hesitant. Will any of you be over there? I can extend my trip up to 6 months and I badly want to go to the Thai Fruit Fest in June. Would love to hear from you. :)

HIYA! I'll be in Bangkok from Sep 18th or 19th and will be there or about a week. If anyone will be free to talk or to run around with me, let me know. I'm on the hunt for some Zen Buddhism or other really cool places, like ... and this one is a long shot too, but Taoist teachers, Sufis (I'm pretty sure Thailand's got some) (ภาษาไทยว่า ซูฟีย์ ผมค่อนข้างจะชัวร์ว่ามีนะ), or even Christians doing a contemplative practice using meditation. I've got a couple of leads on Zen but will be winging it with anything else. I've got a couple of other things I'll need to do in Bangkok too. I'll head to a Buddhist temple either in Krabi or Kanchanaburi after I leave Bangkok.

Anyone going to be in Mysore, India during 2013? I will be heading down sometime in February and staying for a few months.
I'm in Chiang Mai, North Thailand at the moment and will be here for a couple of months. I wonder if anyone is aroundt who would like to celebratw x-mas eve together (24th of dec). There are a few other 80/10/10'ers here but they celebrate on the 25th.
Ticket to Bankok bought. Leaving on the 27th of this month (December). Will be there for the new years then heading south for a couple weeks then up the Chiang Mai for a month or so. If you are anywhere out there in Thailand let me know. Would love to get some tips on travel and the hang out with some fellow fruities.
