Muscle growth takes time if you never really had much of it. =)
I believe, it's just as healthy (when an individual is ready) to show weight gain pics, because RAW is for overall health & if you stick with a healthy active lifestyle in time, if you have a body goal, it IS attainable! You will of course reap MANY benefits.
Please Remember, it is Just as Much of an ACCOMPLISHMENT to turn the mind & strive for a healthy body with a bit of gain. Those that have a fit lean muscular body, didn't get that way over night!

Hey there banana peeps:)So I've been on Raw Til 4 for a bit over a month now, I know, not long at all. I was vegetarian for 4 years prior and I've finally decided to take the dive. I'm a bit concerned now however. I never had weight problems before this lifestyle, and I have always been a very muscular athlete type person. I've never been into calorie restriction either and always have been around 120-125ish pounds at 5' 4". In only a month I've shot up to 130? 131? 132? It just keeps going up.…

hi everyone, so i've been on this path for about 9 months now i went from 105 to 145-150. I've had an eating disorder for about 3 years and then found this lifestyle over this past summer in july. i understand i had metabolic damage and needed to gain weight but how do some people heal so fast? i eat raw till 4 and love my cooked carbs, don't think i could give those up because even when i try going all raw i immediately reach for a fat like avocado or hummus and completely over do it. i just want to lose the weight more than anything. I'm terrified of what my friends will think and even though they have only said positive things so far its breaking my heart i haven't lost any weight i came to this lifestyle for health and weightloss and while my health is better i don't get sick as often, my hair grows faster, my nails are stronger and my skin is clear i just want someone to tell me what to do or how to do this better than I'm already doing it so i can get results

I don't know how much I gained because I stopped using a scale ever since I wanted to come clean from anorexia (that's been almost 10 years). Though I did put on a good bit of weight, which I do admit worried me in the beginning (afraid of comments from friends or anyone for that matter). But that anxiety was luckily short. Those that did notice my weight gain (or at least said something about it) were only completely positive about it.
I even visited my ex last month (the one ex that I'm good friends with, NOT the one who hurt me, whom I wrote about here) and he even said something unexpected - he found that I've never looked so beautiful as well as something else unexpected. He, as well as my other friends reinforce my great feeling about the weight gain. I've learned to love my curves and am happy to look like a woman instead of a girl, as I am often mistaken for a minor because of my shortness.
I'm proud of where my health is leading me. :)
This group is exactly what I need! :) Before starting HCLF, I was vegan and then went raw. I'm 5'9 and went from about 120 to 113. Right now I'm 116, and would like to add a good 10lbs of muscle. Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :) I love hiking, biking, trail running, weight lifting, yoga, I will pretty much try anything! ;) I would love to hear your guy's success stories!!!
Hi all! I'm transitioning to LFRV until 1 April 2012 when I plan to do it full time. I don't have weight to gain, but my meat and potatoes husband definitely does! He's had a hard time keeping weight on his entire life, and he had a hard time believing me that eating large amounts of SAD foods are keeping him sick rather than helping. He is finally willing to change his diet now that he's seeing my illnesses fade away from raw vegan foods. I'm here just to learn what I can to help both of us make healthier choices. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
