My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are...
Math books like 'Godel, Escher, Bach' by David Hofstadter. I could get wrapped up in impossible self-referential logic all day!
As for movies, my favorites are perhaps less intellectual. Fight Club, LOTR series, Stranger than Fiction (best date movie ever!), Team America, Pulp Fiction, god sorry these are such cliche favorite movies...
