I love the Barso Re song on your page :)
True that! And I see you know and like 'The Wheel of Time' as well, Aes Sedai ;)
My motivations for changes in my diet have always been rather spiritual ones, not distinguished in ethics, ecologics and health - you could say health for everyone and everything.
The truth forms its viewers ;) Thus certain types of humans appear similar in features of mind and behaviour.
thanks for the compliments...you're too kind. As for why i'm not married... well, the members of my XY generation haven't shown great candidates in that area. Well, that and i'm still young enough to have some fun, and busy enough to need to tailor that fun and not be overly committed. (in my experience, guys are really needy/clingy... haven't found one yet that's cool with an independant gal)
med school- yeah... it's not as compatible with LFRV as I'd like it to be. In fact, I was doing GREAT on 80-10-10 for a good 6 months+ before i started... then came the late night study sessions, the socials, etc... and i fell off the bandwagon. and trust me, it's shown! :( i'm struggling to get back on, but i'm a determined gal and i know i'll do it. Besides that, my goal is to just learn the material and apply it to my practice in the future as best I can. I plan to live as an example in that sense and practice what i preach. It's not like they teach much nutrition, so i haven't had to do any defending outside of the cafeterias.
Im sorry for the late reply..
About Hawaii, yes, I have been there, but not for a year! I was on vacation there for two weeks, and the place is like fruit central.
-Pineapple with a whitish inside grows there and is SUPER sweet
-gas costs ALOT but who needs a car to get around on a small island?
-Every other food EXCEPT fruits and vegetables costs a ton, like a quart of milk would cost 4 US dollars
-it's sunny 95% of the time
-looks like paradise, warm, crystal clear water.
-rains sometimes at night SUPER heavily for ten minutes occasionally with warm rainwater
-people there are friendly, and yes, a lot of people speak English there, even though Hawaiian is the native language.
Good Luck on your quest! :)
