that is pretty cheap for oranges this time of season. over the winter i paid anywhere from 18-32 depending on what kind of oranges I was buying and what they paid for them. I am hesitant at this point to buy any melons because they really just don't taste that great out of season. I bought a mini watermelon the other day but it was crap. Does vitale have a store front? The costco in Windsor doesnt' really carry the same as the Costco in the USA.. Maybe ask your parents to take you on a trip over there.
Did you get anyting else at Vitale? You can buy a case of organic bananas from the grocery store but its around 40 bucks.. I decided organic bananas can wait at that price.. I buy my organic spinach and greens across the border at costco.. Much cheaper. Every now and then Joseph's has organic romaine and other organics but not consistently.
Hey! They should charge you about 20 bucks but call and ask to see what they say. I think they have different rates they charge people. Right now I am just buying the mangos in singles because I think buying by the box isn't cheaper. They are 99 cents a piece which is cheaper than at the grocery store.
